Wwii German Elite RingThis ring is made from silver as far as i know but it doesn't display such markings on the inside. As you can see from the photo, its a personal ring from a person woh was in an elite regiment. It has wording on both sides whihc is as follows-. On the lfet side meineehre on the right hand side saysheibt treue. On the inside of the band there is a marking that says d. R. G. M. And a number 2 over a letter m. I have looked this mark up and i understand it stands for deutsches reich gebrauchsmuster german reich regsitered design. I bought this ring several years ago form an american serving officer, who at the time was assigned to the pentagon. He told me it was his fathers, who was a normandy veteran, but he did not know if he returned from the war with it or had got it by smoe other means. Please e mail me if you have any other questions.
